Why all the animosity against sigs and avatars? If you don't like them, turn them off. No reason to make that decision for everyone just because you don't like them. i turned off signatures and avatars months ago and my experience on the site improved immediately. i have seen naked and scantily clad women before and i know where to find them when i want to see them.
