For those wanting a new QB

I'm tired of hearing the "we were 12-4" thing being thrown out there. Sure, we were 12-4, and we had a fantastic regular season, due LARGELY in part to our amazing running game. Yes, our defense needs repair right now first, and I don't think drafting a QB early this draft is the way to go, but that still doesn't mean our QB position doesn't need to be improved. Something needs to happen and players need to start being held accountable for what they do. Gone are the days when Jake Delhomme had a staggering record when throwing 3+ INT's (I think it was like 10-1 at some point?). Gone are the days when Jake Delhomme dominates the playoffs. Like I said, just because we went 12-4 doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. Something needs to happen, or next year we will likely have the same let down. And with a schedule that looks to be pretty tough, it could be worse.

Where did you get that stat? He has only 4 regular season games in his entire Panthers career that he has thrown 3+ ints in a game. They are 2-2 in those games, 0-2 in the postseason. Even adding those gives you 6 max.

Everyone will hate me for saying this but both Gradkowski and Dorsey got cut by the Browns... Since there is some ties between Scherer and those two men and I think Dorsey knows Davidson well, it wouldn't be surprise if one of those men replaces Basanez as the 4th QB for Pre-season.
