Anybody got hook ups with snow tubing in NC mtns?

I'm planning a day trip for a bunch of buddies and their sons. Even though I have two girls I'm still going to be a big kid and do this.

Of course I have checked out Hawksnest, Ski Beech, Sugar and Moonshine Mtn in Hendersonville.

Just wondering if anybody had some connections or other suggestions.

Hawksnest is tubing only now. Cataloochee has tubing but its further from CLT. Winterplace in WV...but its even further...

i mean, its tubing, dont suspect there would be much difference from one place to another. Id probably go to Hawksnest since its so close.

My cousin owns that. Been horse back riding there but never skiing. How is the skiing there?

Probably too far but there's a place in Cherokee too that my kids love. Google Cherokee snow tubing and see what comes up. Great airborne jumps on the tubes.

Top Gun was fantastic... Hawksnest had a better atmosphere than any other slope in the area... and by far the cheapest...damn you, Seven Devils.. damn you to hell.
