I haven't heard anybody say anything bad about it yet. Obviously, there are a couple on IMDB, but everybody I have talked to loves it. Once I get my tax return I might try to go see it.

The fight scenes are terrific, the angles and such really give you a great perspective.

A couple of weeks ago Weekend Update on SNL tried telling a stupid joke about how America is in love with guns by saying look at the poster for The Mechanic, it's a gun formed out of a lot of guns and the movie is about a mechanic...

You are correct about the original, I always loved that movie. Hope the remake holds true to the story line. It looks really good.
