So what "flaw" does this workout reveal? The freakin thing hasn't even happened yet and you're bashing him for it.

I wasn't talking about this workout but talking about Cam in general. He's been critiqued but no harder than anyone else and all we've ever said are things that anyone with an ounce of credibility has also said.

If it shows anything it's that his dad has way too much control over him and might not be doing what's best for him. He's trying to build hype from people that don't matter (media) instead of improving his skills and showing them off to the people that do matter (scouts, NFL execs).

The whole thing is dumb and should never happen, like "The Decision"

4 pages later and still haven't seen a good reason not to draft Newton. Just alot of speculation on what people assume Cam can and can't do. This draft can't get here fast enough.

Those projections will continue to change up until the draft and after the week Locker had at the Senior Bowl I would not expect him to be one of the top three QB's taken.

after countless posts and threads telling me his footwork was fine and even good at Auburn... the fact Newton is now holding a private workout to show how much his footwork improves says what exactly about how his footwork was before?

I hope he does well at this thing and shows everyone how well he's done with his footwork, but just because his QB coach and father are impressed doesn't mean everyone will be...

It just seems strange to me that after nearly getting his son kicked out of football, his father is now in charge of his publicity. =|

That's the best part. The that just acknowledged that he had some footwork issues and needed work were "haters" because his footwork was always fine, you must not have seen that highlight vid someone posted that one time in every thread. When they made great strides and it is NOW NFL ready, it shows it lacked before.

Of course we will somehow still be wrong about him and still only be haters and the other group will always know that his footwork was fine before and he didn't need it.

I wonder if they will question his accuracy on NFL throws next, instead of those swings and hitches that made his % over 70. :eek:
