I am new to this message board this much is true thanks for linking me to the other topics. As far as rep is conerned I don't really care about rep on an online message board I have opinions as well don't feel like discussing this issue again simply do not click on the link i'm not forcing you to answer I was just wondering what some of you thought.

Thank you to those who have had an actual response and if Steve really wants to stay and continue to be a Panther then by all means...it just seems like he would want a Sb ring and to play with an actual franchise qb.

Read more threads. You will see all the butt-hurtness Peppers left folks for leaving to a better situation. With that in mind, you can be assured that the only team people wanna see Smitty get a ring, is this one.

Don't understand why any Panther fan would want to trade Smith. It's #89, If he were to walk or demand a trade that's one thing but I would hate to see him in any other uniform. He's one of a kind folks and when he's gone we will all look back at his career and marvel.

Smith for a early second and draft Green in the first would be a nice scenario for us. No chance in hell it happens though. Sorry dude.

Any team trying to win now and in need of a WR would trade a second round for Smitty. Only reason it won't happen is because I don't think we would draft Green #1 overall.

Worst part is, the Patriots are probably one of the few that would make the move and give us our 33rd pick back for him.

Well if you believe Moose he sounded pretty sure SSmith will not be here next year siting he wants to be with a contender his final years. If he wants to leave it would be nice to be able to get a draft pick.

If he wants to leave, then by all means we shouldn't hold him prisoner, but I haven't heard any indication of that. He might be waiting to see what kind of moves the Panthers make before he makes his discontent public, but there is no reason that with a few good transactions that the Panthers can't be a contender in a few years.

Absolutely

A new staff looking at a roster with many holes that they want to mold into their scheme. I definitely would ship a guy who has value, at the end of his career, and has been extremely violent to teammates in the past.

Good bye Steve, I enjoyed you greatly while you were here, just like Peppers, you should be let go.
