Canes Tickets

I have never been to a hockey game and Im looking to go to one of the canes games. What is the best way to get them through ticketmaster or what? Are scalpers usually outside the stadium selling them cheap? I am looking to stay in a reasonable price range $15-40$

I got a lower (like 15th row) blue line ticket last year for cheap, outside the stadium. I think it was $40, quite possibly cheaper. It wasn't a scalper, just a fan with an extra.

Last game I went to, a few weeks ago, I got there late but there were no scalpers outsides...I guess it was too cold for them or something. I ended up paying $70 for a ticket, about 15 rows up behind the goal...it was a great game.

If you want a really good seat for a good price....get center-ice upper levels...against the glass if possible.

The Hurricanes seem to have many special nights...check out the site...like this Saturday I think they are doing $25 lower levels, and $15 uppers for Teachers. Stuff like that.
