Prepare for wild speculation (Larry Fitzgerald)

Operative question would be who the cards might want at number one that they couldn't get at number five.

I doubt a pick swap by itself would be enough to net Fitzgerald, though it could be part of a larger deal.

Might want to jump Buffalo and Cincinatti to secure Gabbert if he blows up in the combine.

Patrick Peterson. DRC sucked this past season. plus their #2 CB, Greg Toler isnt that good.

If they think Gabbert is the real deal they might. They can resign Breaston and Doucet for fairly cheap. Fitz will become expensive for a team not competing with glaring holes. Maybe they can give thier fans the same BS the Panthers gave us. "We want our young QB and WRs to grow together and build chemistry."

Or include Steve Smith in the trade.

(he's older than Fitz, but less expensive)

Not much fodder for the tinfoil hat club here.

Ron Rivera mentor Dave Wannstedt was head coach at Pitt for a while, and new offensive QC Scott Turner was the WR Coach, but Wannstedt took over Pitt the year after Fitzgerald left. Turner came even later and only got the WR Coaching job this past season.

Close, but no cigar

That's true. But i would hate to trade Smitty the moment we finally bring in a #1 lol. Fitz outside with Smitty in the slot :drool5:

How about we send them Goodson and one of Gettis or Lafell and call it a deal. Hell, they can have Armanti too :D
