My first ever homebrew is...

i'm wondering about the coffee one Bruce. I've read some throw in coffee during the boil, and others do it when moving to a second carboy. What did you do?

I haven't made my own beer since before I was able to legally drink. One thing I remember is boiling the water and putting in the ingredients and as we were doing it, I was commenting about how much was evaporating. After if fermented, it was so strong it was hard to drink, but you could get lit off of 2 or 3 of them. I think I've only tried maybe twice. Probably something I should try again.
