The Mayhem Festival?

Any idea who's playing yet?

If I were you, I'd stay in Clayton or Garner if you're only doing one night... It'll be closer to the Pavilion itself and therefore less of a drive...

If there are some good bands, I might go...

You looking for seats or lawn for the main stage (assuming it is broken up into different stages like Ozzfest)? Let me know, because I might can arrange a deal on tickets (I used to work there and still have a few contacts)...

yeah, there is no where to walk from TW pavilion..

You won't find this place to be the finest of places.. there are a lot of better hotels, but this one is cheap and within a cab ride to where you are going.. it's also about 5 minutes from downtown.. it's not run down, it just not a $130/night type hotel..

1813 South Saunders Street

Raleigh, NC 27603

(919) 833-6005

should be around $70-$80/night

you'll be more than safe... it's the closest place I know of that is near TW pavilion and downtown, but not in the slums.. although I wouldn't go walking around S. Saunders.. it's not dangerous, just not recommended...

*waves*

I need a hookup for my son.

*Mayhem Fest 2010, where my son caught the worst case of mono ever*

Oh, and it's broken up into 3 stages if I remember correctly.

Concert ends at 11pm ON THE DOT. If a bunch of you, just call White Horse cab to have them take a bunch of you downtown and drop off in the Glenwood/creamery district after the concert. Great food and bars there. And if you get your hotel downtown at the Raleigh Marriott center, you can hop on the trolley to get from Glenwood/creamery area back over to the Fayetteville St Mall area.

Depends on how much you want to pay for a room.

Raleigh Marriott Center is $200 a night but very nice and lots around it.
