Uverse is a TV offering from AT&T. It now competes with TW Cable and Satellite.

A buddy of mine had UVerse installed in his home about 2 months ago. He said the signal is fantastic. He loves it....and hated TW Cable.

It's still hard to find in Charlotte. University Area is the only place that has it so far. It's lame, they had it on the news two months ago that a NEW CABLE COMPANY was coming to Charlotte...yet you still can't get it. Also, they use DSL instead of a cable modem and installs take up to three hours as they have to wire your house. But in the end, it's cheaper than cable and offers the same programs, including more.

i had it for a month here in anaheim, ca just to try it out. everything was great except they don't offer sunday ticket. that's the only thing that kept me with directv.

Not true. My buddy lives off Independence (near Idlewild). They have it there.
