Yeah it's a shame that he's not going to make it to the H.O.F. because we never gave him a quality QB to throw him the ball. He's had a great career here but you just wonder how much better it could've been had he played with a QB like Brees or Ryan.

Andre Johnson is the best receiver in the league, but some people beg to differ.. very similar to Smitty in his prime..

QB after '06.. after all, Smitty was the triple crown winner with Delhomme throwing the ball.... by no means am I calling Delhomme a great QB.. but Smitty got the ball due to a large part because of Delhomme, sometimes blindly throwing it up...

Smitty could have benefited from a better run game before '08, and we have always needed a second threat on the field.. those 2 mean more to me than blaming Delhomme..

but of course, a better QB would have enhanced his numbers..
