I have a meat locker. It's where I've been storing Dan.

I buy meat from a locally owned supermarket, where they have an actual butcher that butchers the meat himself. And they still manage to beat any other grocery stores prices on meat including walmart. They even make their own sausage. Best meat ever.

I want to get a chest freezer and start buying 1/4 cows. It comes to like $2 per pound for chuck all the way to filets.

My co-worker does this. You like go in on the meat with a couple other people or something? He said it works out great.

Yep. I think a 1/4 is like 200 lbs of meat for a little over $400. Split that and you are good to go for almost a year.

Bloom has excellent meat too.

One of the few places I have seen to keep fresh ground sirloin on the shelves. Even the hipster Teeter in plaza midwood didn't do that

Jase is right. For some reason all the stores in mint hill just have their act together. even the Mcdonalds, which historically has horrible disgusting nasty ass food, has food that won't kill you.

The Wal-Mart in our area gets their produce from local farms in the county, so it's fresh. I don't know about the meat though.

Lowes foods has the highest quality meat and produce imo, at least as far as Grocery store chains. We don't eat much beef, but we do eat a lot of chicken and seafood.

My wife doesn't buy groceries at Walmart, but she does use Sam's club. She can buy two whole frozen chickens at Sam's for the price of one at Food Lion.
