I'm done with Wal-mart meat....

Walmart's peanut butter or dish detergent might be the same but their meat is horrible. I've never shopped there much but they built one right next to me so I figured I would sell out instead of fighting the power.

I've never seen any store stock as much select meat as they do. You would barely know select meat exists at other stores. All of their stuff is HORRIBLE. Terrible.

I was in a rush so I figured i would just try out some all natural choice ground beef.

pulling the beef apart into the induvidual strands that would come out of the grinder they held together elastically and would stretch a great length before coming apart.

So i made a few small burger patties to medium. the inside should have been nice and pink, it was. But the entire thing was mealy, rubbery, and gristley. The nice brown coating on the outside felt like an impenetrable barrier of burnt rubber. This all leads to indications that their ground meat is the bottom of the bin, and more cartilage than actual meat.

I know how to make my burgers, i don't overmix, i only salt the outsides once the patties are formed. this was one of the worst burgers I've had anywhere.

I've been trying to hold off on meat unless it's high quality and this really cements it. It's poo. I'm getting custom ground meat from now on. It's just not worth it.

Ive bought steak there, its disgusting.

The ground beef I buy in the tube anyways, but I stick with the Teet for the good cuts of meat.

Im waiting for Target to start selling meat and produce and Ill be doing all my shopping there.

Anywhere that sells meat, yet doesn't have a meat counter kinda worries me.
