Big Rush fan here...saw them last two times they were here...plus several shows back in the day. Boo, they are in Gboro this spring. I might go, but didnt buy ticket ahead of time.

Bst shows...

Chili peppers last time they were here. Awesome. Top 5 for sure.

DMB - seen about 9 times, some shows much better than others depending on set list.

Van Halen with DLR

Coldplay was actually really good the last show here. Ended up being last show of the tour. Saw them in ATL earlier in tour and not nearly as good as CLT.

REM - was good back in the day circa 88 or so.

Where all have you seen Dave? Any rare songs you got to hear? What's the best setlist you've had?

All are incredible live:

Aerosmith - Pump Tour

Crue - Dr Feelgood

Seether - rocked balls to the wall

Tesla - Twice // Great Radio & Edison's Medicine tours

KISS - Twice on the Reunion Tour

Best band I've seen though... Extreme. Nuno Bettencourt is a guitar genius, and Pat Badger was amazing - covered both the regular Bass line and the overdub guitar parts at the same time. Needless to say, I was impressed.

If you've never seen it, check out their Queen Medley at the Live at Wembley: Freddie Mercury Tribute concert. Overall, to this day, the best cover medley I've heard in my life.

Edit: DMB was wild.. saw them when they were still playing the colege circuit, right before they got signed to a major label. Much better band back then, more raw sounding and less commercialized.

Dave Matthews Band in Saratoga Springs, NY, Front row in the pit was incredible.

Coldplay was better than expected, front row too.

1st time was Jazz Fest NOLA in '98 i think...

then a LOONG hiatus until here in '07. Saw them every show here since '07. Saw Charlottesville shows last year and this year. So that is nine. I had a lot of fun at the '08 show here which was the first show without LeRoi, but before he passed. Strange i know. Not the best setlist, but my mood and the scene was good despite being 100 degrees.

the setlist in CLT this year was better, but our seats sucked ass and that really matters a lot. Cville this year had nice songs both nights, but i thought N1 was best.

Some concerts (for me at least) have an energy before the band comes on stage..a real energy you can feel from the crowd and that really makes a difference. A lot of DMB shows have that. Coldplay here in CLT last year really had that. I think their preshow music had A LOT to do with that. I can still remember the last two tunes they played. U2 - Magnificent and Jay-Z - I just Wanna Luv Ya... The crew cranked that poo so loud, the crowd just had a palpable energy...

I saw someone listed Def Lepard Hysteria tour. I saw them in NOLA on that tour and could not get into it AT ALL....and i had been a Lepard fan from On Through the Night
