Best Bands You've Seen Live....

I had tickets to see them in Seattle last year and it just so happened to be on the same weekend that my wife and I were going to be there for a Hawks game.

Then Elton got sick...so it was postponed to February and we couldn't go.

38 Special....I was living in southern Alberta years and years ago and they were down there shooting a video on a local ranch. that night they played a show for about 50 of us...it was pretty sweet.

I saw 38 Special many years ago in Charlotte. They really did put on a great show. What little I remember of it anyway.

Yes, I was at The Last Waltz. Thanksgiving Day it was and inside the Winterland it got hotter than blazes. We were pretty gonzo'd too, which didn't help. The show started kind of late considering the doors opened at 5PM. I don't think we left the pace until 3 or 4 in the morning when everyone got on stage with The Band to say, "Farewell."

On another note, the Great White "Once Bitten, Twice Fried" tour? I know, sick, but true.

I'm not sure I could list every band I've seen. Not sure I'd remember them all. We try to get in about 5-6 shows a year and we've been together for 15 years. When I was in the Navy I'd try to see shows as well. For example, I saw Heart play in Japan in the late 70's. /QUOTE]

This was right before Bon Jovi exploded.

I would love to see The Killers live. Also wish that someday I can see my boy Justin Nozuka live. He's got the most soulful voice in the music industry..

how long did it take you to get home from that show? we didn't roll in to rock vegas till 8 the next day. some the best seats i have ever had for a show like that.

Steely Dan is amongst the greatest of all time in my book...although they were a bit before my day, I did get to see Donald Fagen and Michael McDonald this past summer at the Music Factory.
