if you take his history into consideration (3-4 in san Diego, 4-4 in chicago, jim johnson 4-3 in philadelphia) there is one consistent theme. No, it's not blitzing. It's confusion.

I don't recall many/any 4 down linemen, 4 linebacker defensive formations during his Chicago days... but I'm not nearly as smart as Fiz, so I'm certain that he's absolutely right with this statement.
