I never finished watching the whole series so I'm starting back over. The first season is phenomenal.

First season was great. Second season wasn't bad. The episode where they rescued people from New Caprica was incredible. After that though, it was political and religious mumbo jumbo.

Yes. And it's pretty much explained in the last episodes that they landed 150,000 years ago and integrated into existing earth-based human culture, abandoning technology and flying their ships into the sun.

I've seen the Mini-series for the new one.. I just can't get myself to give up the time commitment for it. Especially if I'm watching by myself. If I could watch it with someone I would. For the record, all the episodes are on Netflix streaming from what I recall.

Razor was the last episode to be like the first couple seasons. The rest are sappy religious preachy crybaby emo episodes. Didn't ABC pick up BSG for the last couple seasons?
