They have no idea... Lol, me and bleys have discussed this so many times. They don't know suck until they heard Joe Ovies and Adam Gold

Can't rep you enough for this... sports talk here might as well not even pretend to talk Panthers... is all Hurricanes and Wolfpack from what I can tell. Glad I got Sirius NFL

i swear to god this forum has a worse obsession with mentoring than an ancient greek pederast

The guy was a solid player for us and for what players who played with him say. He was the best leader they ever played with. Plus he went 2 Notre Dame who better 2 help Jimmy.

someone who knows how to teach/improve throwing motion, footwork, going through progressions, pocket presence, you know, all the technical things that can be worked on. Leadership you either have or you don't by this point.

just because you're a great player doesn't mean you'll be a great coach. I think one of the biggest misconceptions on this website is that any player on this team that had proven that he was semi-competent would just be oh so eligible to coach. And it's part my offseason to do list to bury and exorcise this point so that it never haunts this fanbase again with its deceptively captivating lure

Its good to hear from somebody who has actually played the game comment on NFL and the Panthers, lends some credibility to what they discuss.

Football isn't that hard to understand. I don't get people like you who need some athlete to tell you what's going on.

It's not brain surgery.

I don't get people like you who never played the sport at it's highest level but, feel like your opinion is just as good as any player's. Maybe we want insight from a person in the huddle not someone sitting on their ass watching the game.

This arm chair QB thing is getting out of hand.

Does wfnz reach to winston? All the sports talk I hear is about the bengals.

I live about 15 miles south of uptown Charlotte. By the time I pull in my driveway at 6pm after work, I can barely pick up the WFNZ signal.

Pisses me the f*ck off. Get some damn wattage assholes.

Okay give me the list of ex-athletes who have SUCCESSFUL sports talk radio show.

I'll give you Mike Golic. Who else?

And BTW, for the most part ex-athletes are really boring on the radio. Most ex-athletes can't do more than Xs and Os. Being a radio host requires a lot more work than that. That's why there are no ex-athlete who do a radio show by themselves. They usually need a radio professional to help them out.

Point is I rather here about Pro football from a PRO FOOTBALL PLAYERS. A current or former football player. Why does it bother you that people like the insight they get from players? I don't want 2 hear about Medical procedures from the cashier at Walmart.
