How do these type of "nominations" count towards contracts or number of selections?

To clarify, many players have bonuses for making the Pro Bowl, how does this work towards that? Do they have to be voted in the first time, or do replacement appearances count?

And as far as career stats, does this factor into "Selected to X Pro Bowls"? Because technically, he wasn't selected.

Anyway, superhyped for Beas, great guy and a HOF caliber player if he keeps this up. Should've been there to begin with!
