I just picked up a book titled: "Carolina Panthers: The first year of the most successful expansion team in NFL history" (or something like that) and just in the first few chapters I found some interesting stuff:

- JR would put funny acronyms in his letters to other investors like "W.G.G.T.F.F" which stood for "We're Going to Get This F*cking Franchise".

- "Cougars" was the first name we came up with for the team.

- The league wanted our primary color to be purple and suggested the names "Cobras" and "Rhinos".

Found it on ebay, ISBN: 0-02-861396-1 and the proper title is "The Carolina Panthers: The First Season of the Most Successful Expansion Team in NFL History". The authors are Joe Menzer and Bob Condor.

Yeah, although the only real comparison you can make is with the Jaguars since the rules for expansion teams had changed drastically between the time the Saints or Bucs came into the league and the time the Panthers did.

Actually, my criteria to make the bumper sticker has nothing to do with expansion but everything to do with fan bases that I hate. I could list about 10 more but then it wouldn't be a bumper sticker.

LOL, I'm right there with you - I have an illogical hatred of all those teams as well.
