Hip Flexor Strain?

forewarning: I realize I could go to a chiropractor or doctor and that will be the main recommendation.. however, I'm being stubborn for the moment and it's nothing that is painful during my day-to-day activities..

I'm trying to figure out what might be going on with my hip. Someone told me it sounds like a hip flexor strain. Basically it feels like where my left thigh meets my hip needs popped.

looking this up online, I'm getting a lot of results pointing out what seems to be a much more serious than what my issue feels like.

I play football on the weekends with a bunch of friends, and 2 weeks ago (last time I played) is when this occurred.. It really feels like my hip needs popped, but I guess it feels more muscular than anything...

tonight I've been sitting cross legged and it's noticeable again.. first time in a while.

figured I would shout out to the huddle to see if anyone has had this issue.. I guess if it's serious, I'll have to get it checked out.. it just doesn't seem like it would be, and I've had this occur once or twice in the past. (nothing recent: in the last year or 2)

appreciate it fellas.. I want this to go away instead of aggravating it further, but if it takes 4 more weeks I may end up pushing it...

I couldn't get much of a push when going into a sprint, and I'm not disciplined enough to wait another month..
