According to The Red Zone, a number of Steelers offensive linemen showed up in Fort Worth today wearing Michigan State #76 jerseys as a tribute to Flozell Adams.

Why the tribute? Apparently just because Adams is playing in his first Super Bowl after 13 seasons in the league.

Unfortunately, the tribute to Adams got a little out of hand when the linemen all started tripping and leg-whipping each other :sosp:

My wife was a bridesmaid in a wedding along with ARod's girlfriend a couple summer's ago. I took that opportunity to hang with him at the rehearsal dinner and then at the reception.

Super-nice guy. It was a lot of fun!

As for the game, I do think that since Pitt's CBs are their weakest unit, Rodgers will have a big game. Will be close, but I'm going to take the Pack.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
