Don't worry, when the robot uprising takes place America will be such a culture of convenience that we will ally with our robot enemies and, as a reward, everyone of us will live the lives of kings and queens in the matrix.

(when you think about it, in the movie the robots created a perfect copy of our society pre-robot for us to live in. Rather than exterminating us and harnessing geothermal power they chose to offer a sort of compromise: We need your world, but we'll give you a home. We didn't know the difference unless one of the resisting humans wake you up out of it. We're the bad guys?)
