Don't be surprise if the Panthers move in next few years

Dude, I'm not saying youre an idiot, but your information is misguided. My father works for Wachovia/Wells Fargo, he handles most of their insider TV programming and has access to alot of information I will guarantee you don't. The headquarters for Wachovia and Wells Fargo is going to be split between here and San Fransisco.....case and point, the 60 story WACHOVIA tower still being built right near the stadium. Youre fear is understandable, but misplaced.

Im not gonna say what my source does but it handles a lil more than just tv programming.

Its same reaction when I told people that Wachovia is about go bye bye. Believe it or not.

PS: Wells Fargo is liable for that tower, if tower is not completed Wachovia would get sued for breach of contract which will cost more than cost of completion plus legal cost would be huge. easy math.

If the Panthers move, what happens to the PSL's? Would the people need to forfeit their licensing without a refund?

Good luck getting a refund. I've always said that the tagline the Panthers use to promote the PSL's is false advertising: "Take your seat for a Lifetime of NFL excitement."

I mean when the Panthers go to build a new stadium someday, you'll have to buy PSLs all over again. The tagline makes it sound like your lifetime, but it's really only the lifetime of the stadium.

Ask Steeler season ticket holders about the new stadium up there. The Rooneys said, "Thanks for being a loyal season ticket holder for the past 30 years, but you'll still have to pony up $1,500 per seat to keep your tickets in the new stadium."

The Jags are a thousand times more likely to move than the Panthers ever will. Mind you there are a lot of less well off cities around the countries that have sports franchises, just because we may be losing the banking sector doesn't mean everything will go downhill, someone will move in to take advantage of the banks leaving.

Also, most companies don't want to be spending money on moving right now, BoA is better off in NC where the cost of business is a lot lower than NY or LA.

    • been living in town since March of last year after spending 15+ years out on a farm in the middle of nowhere.  Snow was beautiful out there, but always meant a lot of work dealing with the long driveway and long dirt road out and onto paved roads that were the last in the county to get plowed. On normal days it always took 20 minutes to get anywhere. when it snowed...yeah. forget about it for a couple days. still had to go to work, so i'd have to drive on all these narrow and windy snow covered backroads after dealing with my driveway and putting up with the nasty red mud slush on the dirt road. if there was an emergency or some kind of urgent issue that required you having someone drive in or going out, it was just a major stressor.  anyways, i'm just looking forward to snow in the new house in town, where my driveway is really short and the roads are plowed. i want snow that requires no work or stress on me. most people probably love the idea of being snowed in out in the country. been there. done that. i'm looking forward to snow coming in town and being able to get out and about if i need. hopefully we have some this year.
    • I don't think it will be a complete stomping at all. That's not really the 2024 KC team. They have only scored 30 points once this season(shootout versus TB) and their biggest margin of victory has been 13(vs. the Saints). I guess they clearly show better versus the NFC South but not THAT good. Not by their recent years standard.
