If I didn't fear a wrathful, salted-earth jihad, I'd neg-rep you.

But regardless, I never intended this debate to be about which movie was the funniest, but rather which movie within the comedy genre was "the best." I would loosely define the criteria as one that will still be watched by later generations who were born long after these movies were made (such as Blazing Saddles, Duck Soup, etc.).
