Yeah I'd say, since Rivera said in his presser they were going to bring in outside competition for the QB spot.

Clausen came out as a junior, Luck wouldve came out as a sophmore. Harder to do two years of work than one.

not true. Luck is an academic junior. He graduates next spring.

Ultimately though I think Luck would have had a harder time finishing his degree, since Clausen is taking advantage of the questionable labor situation right now I think... that and I suspect he isn't getting a degree in architecture or whatever.

edit: Apparently Clausen is getting a degree in Sociology. He commented that the labor negotiation made it easy for him to get back to take classes right now and graduate by May.

Honestly I suspect that Andrew Luck's decision rides as much with playing another year of college football as it does with his degree.
