I would wait on declaring who are FAs/cuts until RR has had a chance to finalise the rules and let everyone know...

You might only have the chance to get one or two people in, don't want to gut the roster. Also need accurate concepts of cap space,otherwise you could cut a lot of your role players leaving you with a bare roster but no cap room.

You can franchise one, but that does count as one of your top 4. So list your top 4 then list the guys that you are letting walk in a separate list. You can let RFA's walk though if you choose and allow them to be part of your top 4 but as of right I do not believe RR was planning to deal with tenders for RFA's.

I think everyone is agreed we will have a limit on the amount of player trades each team can do as well as some guidelines to keep trades within reason. So this is what I'm thinking now for free agency...

A limited free agency period, where all RFAs and lower end URFAs are assumed to stay with their original team.

The top 4 free agents from each team enter the free agent pool.

Everyone gets the free use to franchise one of their players, so really only 3 players from each team enter the pool.

Each team is given the same amount of money to work with (let's say $40 million).

Free agents are listed in two threads, one for offense and one for defense, where you can bid on them. Will be less than 50 players to look over in each thread, I can update one thread and Carolina Crazy V2 or another volunteer handles the other.

We have over a month before the combine so we should have plenty of time to do this, otherwise we'd just be waiting to do a draft.

Anyone have a problem doing this other than Urrymonster? I'll leave it up to you guys, whatever you want to do.

RnR will create the appropriate threads for rosters, FA, draft etc.
