I was thinking the same thing.. the 1st one wasn't any good either.

matter of fact, Haley is the only one left with the kind of talent you'd expect to see towards the end...

this girl would make her look foolish though.. this is how you sing a Stevie Nicks song.

I am not really liking The Voice to much. I dont know if it is just because 1 talent show is enough for me or what. I have tried to watch it every week, but I just fast forward though everything except the singing. I just cant get interested in all the other stuff. I mean a 2 hour show should have more that 4 songs in it.

American Idol is too sensationalized for me to watch it seriously.. can't stand it. Everything about it makes me watch to pull my hair out... From Seacrest to the Judges spewing their BS to the singers having less than superstar level talent..

I usually hate all these shows, something caught my attention with The Voice..

Fact: Haley performed songs that had a far greater degree of difficulty than anything Scott or Carrie Underwood 2.0 tried all night.

Fact: You knew this was coming- the judges said each of the three "won" one of the segments. Nobody was the standout according to them.

Fact: The judges refuse to say anything negative about anyone. Telling someone to find another line of work was always the best part of the show.

More than half the people who try out for this kind of thing have been told by everyone around them how good they are- that's why they're trying out to begin with. All the judges are doing is perpetuating this notion by refusing to tell someone they suck when they need to be told they do suck.

Scott may win, Underwood 2.0 may win and both of them may go on to have huge recording careers, but neither of them will ever grow a set large enough to take on a Led Zep tune, let alone Stevie Nicks.

Nonetheless, we'll always have another season to look forward to someone else trying to do "Just Dance" running that record to an all-time high... uuugghhhhhh. Just stick a pencil in my ear.

The voting base is mostly little girls.

Scotty will win. They are pushing the little girl vote towards him so hard it's crazy.

Haley left because her personality and song choices may make her unappealing to some of the little girls while Lauren stayed because she is non-threatening.

Haley is going to have a nice career. Lauren will do her country thing with her runner up album. Scotty wins.

When Haley does Stevie Nicks, Alanis Morrisette and Led Zeppelin it pretty much guarantees she's not getting the redneck trailer park vote from the kiddies.

An entirely different level of audience appeal with Scott and Lauren. Haley will enjoy more commercial success while the country kids are just tossed onto the heap of one-hit wonders already over-populating that particular genre of music.
