Was thrilled she went home. Why anyone would vote for her is beyond me when you have Pia singing the same style of music 20 times better.

Haley is very underrated, I hope she sings something good next week.

She seems like a stuck up bitch to me though... lol... I don't care how she sings anymore...

Casey has lost his appeal to me. He was way better in the auditions. He butchered that Nirvana song.

I believe James will ultimately win. Some things that can be said regardless of who wins though:

- Scotty will get a record contract, likely with a country label if he doesn't win (which I do believe is possible).

- So will Lauren, although I could see her going pop too.

- Jacob will get a contract, probably be successful as a soul singer.

- Pia will get a record contract or an acting career, maybe both.

Most of the rest will, I think, be interesting/amusing for a short time - especially guys like Casey and Paul - then probably drop off the map. A couple could wind up with minor careers in the Tamyra Gray/Justin Guarini mold. I could see Thia going that way. She's a good singer, but might wind up getting farther on her looks than her talent. Same might be said of Haley, though in a different kind of way.

For the record, James reminds me more of Bo Bice than Adam Lambert, but I think he'll be better than Bo because I think he wants it more. To be clear, Bo has been successful, but not as much as I would have thought, and I think that's because his personal life is a little rocky. James seems more stable (even with the Tourettes).

If I had to predict at this point I would say Pia and James in the finals, with Pia winning.

I have Pia winning because historically the one who is logically more popular comes in 2nd and then has the more successful career. Adam Lambert, Clay Aiken, Katherine McPhee.

The only one I could see myself downloading the music of is Paul. I love his voice. And he's local.

Pia's a great singer, but Idols live and die on "mass appeal" and I think Scotty has more of that than she does.

I think the final two will be Scotty and James, though I'd give Jacob a shot at it too.

It doesn't take much to make it in country. he can go there now. I think Kellie Pickler is rich out of her ass now, and I never did like her. All I heard about was Kellie Pickler since Abermarle being about 15 minutes away from Salisbury (maybe 20)

Oh yeah, that I know and agree with... He'll have a good country career... But even in country, his voice alone isn't something that hasn't already been done, and nothing that will make him stand out over anyone else in country...

I just feel like Casey, Pia, Jacob, and James deserve to be the final 4 up to this point...
