Isnt a mental addiction called a habit? I have taken breaks from smokin teh herb, its not hard. Quitting cigs is sooo much more difficult, i'll be droppin them cold turkey again after Sunday. Or, thats my target date anyway...

On the note of SmittyIsOurSavior - A few years back I had a conversation with a woman very similar in context to what you said. I had got off work for the day, stopped at a gas station for a fresh deck, a cold drink and a pack of papers before my hour+ ride home. When I asked the clerk for the papers, a woman behind me said something about "That stuff will kill you, you know? I just lost my brother to it 2 months ago." I offered my condolences to her, respectfully told her that it must have been something other than marijuana that took him, gave her the ol' 'Its better for you than it is bad for you', cited a few positives in its use, thanked her for her concern and said im sorry for you loss. I then asked how her brother passed and she told me he had got shot over a drug deal. "Well then it wasnt pot that killed him, it was the knuckleheads he was associating with. Again, Im very sorry you lost you brother, but it wasnt what Im doing that did it to him." We exchanged a few more words, it was getting more and mre uncomfortable, but she told me to have a good day and left with tears in her eyes. I felt bad for her, but its not right to condemn or blame somebody that smokes the pot for her brother dealing with undesirables...

To each his own, I commend the few that have never consumed, almost feel bad for those that dont anymore. I dont look down on the people that dont smoke, my wife doesnt, and I dont feel I should be looked down on because I do...

Drugs are bad, mmmmkay? So is anything in excess. Most other recreationals are real bad. Ive tried some, stayed way away from others. And while I do see the negatinve effects from years of usage, its not enough to outweigh the positives...

I discovered this weekend that I'm absolute garbage at COD when I'm high. It's fun as hell though.

This is pretty much how I was/am. Except when I was doing track and field and random NCAA drug tests prevented me from doing it more than once or twice over the summer. It was always with friends, their supply and their glass. Now I'm not doing track anymore and had my boy hook me up w/ his dealer this past weekend and I felt sketch as hell driving to go meet this guy and even more sketch driving with a quarter oz of weed on my way home. I was kind of paranoid to be honest. Then I got home and it was destination: blaze city, population: me.

Brilliant.

It is really fun! I'm about the opposite to be honest! I'm even better at the game...somehow. I remember me and a few friends toked, then I played BlackOps on XBL. I went 22-2. The next day I had woke up..knowing I had played the game..but unable to remember anything..I looked at the recent games..and low and behold I went 22-2 on WMD.

Until it is legalized (which it should be) each of you purchasing from shady dealers drive the demand of it higher and in a way you are responsible for funding murder, extortion, and kidnapping.

Now pass me a joint.

Fixed.

Find some local and get to know your source. Don't let some bad news from the boarder affect your thoughts on supply and demand in this case. The local is always better anyway, at least that is what I've found. Anything that has been bricked is not cool in the first place.
