Dog rescues another dog

Again, how does being able to destroy life make you a better creature than something that would never even have that thought?

You're judging "better" by a set of moral awareness rules or something...

I'm judging it by an evolutionary hierarchy...

I think you're giving dogs waaaaaay too much credit...

Some human beings are poo. They're either poor lazy bastards that want the world to take care of them, or Darwinian rich assholes who will cut your throat for the next thing they want that they don't have.

Dogs are awesome unless they are owned by one of the two aforementioned people. And even when they are it's not their fault.

I wondered how long it would take for you to get here ;)

What say you about undomesticated dogs/animals without owners?

Survival of the fittest...

Domestication is just a hindrance and a flaw in the evolutionary process...

I don't understand your argument, but then I haven't been reading the back and forth. Dogs are loyal. That's why people love them. People spend all day pretending they can stand some asshole they work with, listening to some stupid bitch whining about something, and doing what the boss says knowing that the boss is only as loyal as the bottom line. They get home and the dog is just happy to see them. Whatever attention you can give it, it looks you in the eye and shows gratitude. Dogs read us better than we can read ourselves. Did you know that?

That is a survival instinct, in both the human and dog examples...

Wild dogs aren't loyal to anything but themselves, just like humans that are "wild"...

Again, the domestication process has been a hindrance for the evolutionary progress of most "pets," and in fact, most species wouldn't have ever been bred if it weren't for human involvement...

What's your point? You think humans haven't bred the same way?

its too late now darth. Now most dogs would die off if not taken care of. so you're saying its in their betterment to let them die off?

Not now that we irresponsibly domesticated them... But that reinforces my point that humans control the survival of dogs, therefore we are evolutionary dominant... and as such, should be valued more in a situation of "save the dog or another human"...

Again though, I'm not saying that everyone has to believe the way I do or choose the human over the dog... I'm just trying to explain how my view is theoretically correct...

    • And those teams would lose. ------- I'm no Bryce Stan, but I have problem giving him his due. Sure, he has sucked so bad that his stats pre-benching are dragging what he's been able to do since, particularly the last three games, but to act like he hasn't actually looked like a QB with real promise for the last month is simply dishonest. All of a sudden (or not), certain Huddlers act like they have no concept of improvement---like they're suffering an inability to compartmentalize games or a group of games, or the inability to mentally separate Bryce's play when juxtaposed against the rest of the team. That's what analysis is all about. From my observation over the now decades of being here, I know that some of you can do it better than you're letting on. Just be honest about Bryce's improvement. He still may not be the future, but based upon his improvement the last month, it's rational to say that he just may have earned a chance to at least compete for the job next season. Of course he has to keep improving and show a level of consistency for the remainder of this season...
