Well, there are a few people who no longer show post. We don't know for certain that they didn't get offed because of their political views.

I never took anything in the tinderbox personal, or let it leak into other areas such as Panther football. But I guess some did.

Of course, I mostly avoided the religious threads and the conspiracy theory threads. Well not always, but most of the time I did. Which lately means about 90% of what was in there.

Truth be told, I believe the core issue is this:

Huff'n'puff keeps saying stuff about Obama's poor approval numbers, so CWG doesn't have anything to post in there anymore. This makes Zod mad, so he closed the forum.

Part of me wants to cry, part of me wants to donate to Zods sperm bank fund in appreciation.

The tinderbox makes you think about things. The Lounge is where you go to try and find something humorous to read that does not devolve into people asking to see womens boobs.

That being said there's a part of me that would be happy thinking that people like CoW and Venom don't exist.

I feel we are all better off without it. We used to have a strict no politics or religion policy on the huddle and I think we were all much better off for it.

Kind of sad, it was 50% of the reason I even came here, which means 50% of that other time will be spend on another forum. This means that people like me (and a good deal that like the TB) won't be around to see those little advertisements at the top of the forums.

And if you didn't like it, don't read. Other than KT's posts I never seen it really overflow into other parts of the forums. That will just happen in the Lounge now.

Agreed.

I enjoyed watching the regular "Panthers'" posters beginning to wake up to reality, and how nobody every really joined the side of the fake left or right mouthpieces on the board.

Hope it comes back sometime.
