I don't see why everyone thinks we're gonna run JJ's 4-3 just because McDermott is gonna be our DC. From what I remember, Rivera ran an Aggressive Tampa 2 in Chicago, and a 3-4 in San Diego. I can totally see us having multiple Defensive sets depending on the other team's offense and not just one style of defense like we've become accustomed to. We'll have to wait and see what kind of defense we get, but one thing you know about a Rivera defense is that it's very disciplined and a really good tackling unit. That's a positive.

Sounds like we will run a more complicated, aggressive defense for sure. However, it may take a few years just for our defense to adjust and learn the new Defense. I wouldn't expect too much next year as far as different looks and improvement. We may even be set back before we get better.
