Getting to know the Jim Johnson 4-3

They have been using him as an one gap dt/DE in balt so ray may not like it but he still has his NT. Besides kemo left and ray didn't like it.

Lewis was calling for a bigger DT while Kemo was still there. Kemo was physically big but never really played big and wasn't very good in Baltimore either. If you read Ravens fans when he came to Carolina they were basically saying "no big deal, he wasn't that effective anyway."

I'll take that bet Salty just because, why not? :D

and second, NGata is not coming here guys lol keep dreaming. He would have to want to leave because the Ravens will pay him, they are a defense oriented team. That is the only way is if he would leave a playoff caliber team with a legendary leader on the defense and a FO who is willing to be competitive every year coaching wise and player wise.

^^^^^Peppers could have been great in any Defense.

I dont think Beason will mind putting on some weight if he needs to.

I mean, he has already switched positions and switched back for the team.

There is still going to be a tremendous amount of players being added to the camp roster, probably a lot of cuts from the eagles team, especially if they change up their Defense.

Good point, I'm sure we'll be scanning the Eagles waiver wire to bring in personnel that have run this kind of defense.

i know we are focusing on johnson's version of the 4-3, but i could see us with elements of all the d's rivera has played or coached under. we could run some 46, some tampa 2,or the 3-4 he ran in san diego. rivera might even be creating the next style of d ala lebeau?

Now that I believe, as to the other dream players, they're simply that. A dream. Stewart Bradley is a possibility, but I think if they add players to our LB it will be someone young who can develop some. What Im most curious about is how will they use Eric Norwood.

I could see us picking up a veteran FB i.e. McClain from Ravens
