I think you guys are missing the point of contract negotiation. He's being shopped as a starting, franchise, elite QB. He's not going to say that.

What you guys are expecting him to say would be something he would say AFTER he signs. If he still displayed the same attitude after he got a contract you would have a problem, but as it stands right now I see nothing wrong with him protecting his value.

He didn't go to prison like Vick for him to show remorse like that. Him and his coach didn't like each other. And for a while the Titans decision could have gone either way and fired Fisher and keep VY.

Wrong. He needs to show that he isn't crazy and he can be real about the situation. When everyone who needs a QB says they don't want you, you don't have much to negotiate. You need to accept what you are given.

His biggest issues are his maturity and mental sanity. This interview showed basically that he has neither. He thinks he's already an elite QB? He's not even close to top 10, and top 10 isn't even elite. He laughs at the thought of being a backup? Here come the maturity issues again.

Meh, maybe he'll get it in a year.

I understand that. Like I said it wasn't about his attitude, just the way he expressed it. Laughing at the thought of being a backup is something I would expect of a child, not an adult. And wasn't he benched for Kerry anyway?

Also, if they don't like his attitude it would be stupid to sign him then expect him to change his attitude. He already has what he wants at that point.

The point was he was benched tho. Elite QBs don't get benched. Once again, attitude of a starting QB is great. IMO laughing shows more immaturity than attitude tho.

Idk but right now it's possible. It is likely they will bring in a veteran and resigning Moore is a possibility. Even if Moore isn't signed they could bring in 2 vets to compete and demote Pike to the practice squad. There is also the possibility of them bringing in an un drafted free agent for the practice squad. Right now there are too many possibilities and without knowing how the new staff feels about Moore and Pike, it is too hard to predict.
