Somebody will sign moore and it will not be us. All you people screaming take him to camp, he is a free agent. You dont just get to take the guy to camp without paying him and decide if you are going to keep him.

Everyone who wants to take him to camp said give him a cheap contract so he wouldn't be a free agent.

Ok, 237 posts dealing with (and arguing) about something that really doesn't matter until TC. Moore, not Moore don't matter right now and this is getting unproductive.

Can we move on to moore important things like where to store the butter? :D

I'm with this guy :)

All you haters talk about how he poo his pants and looked horrible and had decided that after 7 quarters. That was all bullshit. If Clausen wasn't so hyped, they would have put real faith in Matt Moore and let him work his way through our offensive ineptitude. Instead they bench him after 7 quarters. That was the seasons turning point. Matt was running the offense as well as he could at the time. They would have improved with some continuity. But the JC circus was too much to handle for somebody in the front office and the change was made. What a mistake that turned out to be. The only way Matt leaves Carolina is if they draft a QB with first pick. I don't see that happening. So he will be in camp trying to earn his starting job back. Oh, did I mention that there is a connection between Matt and the Charger coaching staff that not too many people know about.

I thought I was going to let someone else try and figure it out...I wonder if you know the same connection I know...

You have no clue.

1st. They let Jake go for Matt. Fox didn't want that but JR said in the PC that he cut older player because he felt the coaching staff would not play the younger player. exp(09 Jake over Matt). Matt also got a contract before the draft and was the unquestion starter.

2nd. They didn't think Jimmy would drop 2 the 48th pick. Nobody did getting Jimmy was a fluke at that pick. Jimmy was rated by everybody a top 10-20 pick. The Plan was for Matt 2 prove he could be the QB of the future and earn a big contract this offseason. Jimmy just fell into their laps. Did you see Hurney Face after the draft he was shocked they got Jimmy.

3rd. Even after that they made it know that Matt was still the unquestion starter of this team. Jimmy was behind Hunter Cantwell most of TC and the preseason.

Matt had a whole offseason to be prepared for the pressure and he poo in his pants.

Everyone except for Mel Kiper Jr. and his wacked out hair. He had him as his number 4 pick in the Draft... That douche bag.

Many were stunned by Clausen's rapid fall from grace. None other than ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr., who has more draft knowledge under his well-oiled hairdo than just about anyone, had Clausen as the No. 4 overall pick going into last night's NFL draft.

Don't you think he should be judged on more than two games as a starter?
