Peter King: "Time to retire the Matty Ice nickname"

No I didn't. None of the games he was under 100 yards did he have mulitple TD's.

The attempts were to show that he is asked to throw alot. A low YPA does not mean he is a bad QB. It just means he doesn't throw deep a whole lot. That doesn't make him average.

It is a pretty bad stat but I felt I needed something besides yards and TD's to compare.

Compared to the league it would put him at 16th, however that's comparing out of context, because you would be taking his stat when he has a bad running game and contrasting it the rest of the QB's whole season statistics.

If you took all of the QB's stats when they had a bad running game and compare that would be alot more accurate.

Are those numbers from this season or career? Because I know for a fact in his career Turner has had games where he has multiple TDs and not 100 yards rushing. There was a whole thread on it earlier this year.

You are correct the 5th lowest YPA doesn't mean he is a bad QB but posting his yards and TDs don't mean he is a good QB either, it just gives more perspective.

Just this season. Im not arguing over a carrer. I wouldnt call him elite, and things could change in a year, but based on this season alone he's been very good.
