I don't know what fans want. Cowher and Gruden weren't coming out of the booth for less than $8 million per, retreads don't seem to work. Harbaugh wasn't coming and college coaches(Butch Davis, Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, etc.) except Jimmie Johnson have been unsuccessful. I think Rivera will be fine, if everyone will get off the ledge and give him a chance to actually coach. McDermott was a scapegoat, they had no talent on defense due to injury and goodness knows Andy Reid's fat a** isn't going to take any blame. Anyone who can make a Pro Bowler out of Derek Anderson can't be too bad and hey, we may actually have a tight end catch more than 20 passes since Wesley Walls.
