I like the hire. A lot of quality Offensive side of the ball coaching talent in San Diego. (We already raped the defensive staff)

Bringing in Billy Volek now so we have a QB who can run our new offense proficiently from day 1 would be ideal.

Seems like Moore is the type of QB Chud needs compared to Clausen, if we are going back to his Browns days. DA is more similar to Moore than Clausen. If he brings over Volek all bets are off but I remember hearing about Volek and a lack of commitment so who knows how true that is.

It's a valid observation. Comparing the QBs that Chud has had in the past and made successful, both as a OC and a TE coach, Moore is more similar to those guys than Clausen is. Even if you don't like Moore you can't dismiss that.

By you responding to that post you bumped it and brought Moore back to the forefront. If you didn't like it just ignore it. Mav, who is not exactly a Moore supporter but is also a reasonable poster, had the same reaction I did. If you can't see the connection and similarities between them then I understand how you don't see the relevance of the post, carry on. Clausen has always been a bit of a dink and dunker, even at Notre Dame.

He has decent arm strength but man is he going to take work to fit what Chuds has worked with in the past.
