Yeah, that's him... I would love if we brought in someone from Green Bay to run a similar offensive style here. To me, they embody what Coach Riv was talking about - run when you need to, pass when you need to, but you choose to. They know when to do what, and they do it well. That would be ideal.

I think the Packers have one of the best coaching staffs in the NFL and I sure hope its a coach from there but more than likely its a coach from Chicago.

Their starting running back went on IR, that's a huge blow to them as Jackson, and now Starks were inexperienced. The injury was the biggest reason their run game suffered. But they did find a bit of a stride going into the playoffs.

Yeah, I was meaning when Grant is in there... When they have him, some games they would pound you into submission with the run and pick their shots... But, since he went down, they've tried to keep the run game above water and passed a lot more.

I will say, we definitely need a QB that could run that type of offense though if Clements came here... Start your Matt Flynn thread now, lol.

Good point. remember that when he made that statement that it was assumed that Luck would enter the draft. One of the reason's we might be a little slow to hire offensive coaches is because he's not entering the draft and coaches of playoff teams might be a little reluctant to make a lateral move because of our QB situation. Or i could be reading more into this than I should.
