La Canfora also reported this morning that McDermott had already interviewed and was in contract negotiations with the Broncos.

But it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Singletary join the Vikings staff.

I was really hoping we would get Singletary here to coach LB's. I thought McDermott woudl be interesting here as a DC....but only becasue he and Rivera would probably share a similar philosophical view on defense (both coached under Johnson). I was not overly impressed with what he did in Philly and don't think he was a MUST have.
