Is NFL Sunday Ticket worth it?

I'm moving to NYC this summer or fall...so bye bye PSLs, and bye bye Panthers on TV.

So...I could either get Sunday Ticket or go out to a bar and ask them to switch one TV to the game.

Anyone use Sunday Ticket as their way to watch the Panthers?

My wife and I have used it since 2005. We typically like it. It breaks out to about $25/week or so. The way I see it, we spent more than that on our PSL tickets. We would spend more than that at a bar/restaurant.

You also get to see every other game each week. While it sometimes sucks, overall, I'd say it's worth it.

If I didn't live in Panthers territory I would have it. My dad's a 'Skins fan and he has it for that reason and loves it.

I don't think it would be worth it this year. I'd wait to get it in the fall.

I live in SW Virginia and had it for 2 years before I could get Greensboro/High Point local channels which show the Panther games. Obviously, once DirecTV started carrying the Greensboro CBS and High Point Fox affiliates I really didn't need it anymore.

Since I have PSLs, I was only using it to watch road games. At the time Sunday Ticket was going for about $250, so it ran me a little over $30 per regular season game.

Other than that, it was nice to be able to pick the games you wanted to watch from the full schedule.

Im with this guy... I absolutely love it because im a football fanatic. I hate cbs or fox choosing the game I'm going to watch. To be able to always watch panthers football I would say yes, I have freinds come to my house every week to watch thier team if they are not on tv I'd hate to be without it. That's just me I have the nba package also sports are serious business in my house.

irreplaceable this year. After the panthers suck @ 1:00, I can switch between 3 or 4 games during the 4:00 hour...

Hmm. Well if I have any money left after Manhattan rapes me for rent, I'll strongly consider it. I'm going to miss "my seat" at games though.

I have had it for years and LOVE it! I never miss a game with it. Plus, when you get it you can see other good games after the Panthers play! You should get it!!
