First power ranking out

Man, there just isn't any rhyme or reason to that ranking.

The 2 teams in the NFC championship are ranked 8th and 10th. The AFC teams...1st and 9th. He has Atlanta as the best team in the NFC...ranked 6th....one below the 8-8 Chargers?!??!

The only way to prove 'em wrong is to display the product on the field.

But, really guys, what do you expect? The last performance put a bad taste in the mouth of Panthers fans, but it just opened us up for all kinds of questions to everyone else.

That game opened us up like a can of Dole peaches in syrup opens up a constipated baby. What comes out ain't pretty!

I don't know MC...it seems to me that more people have been concerned with the overall play of the D and their thinking is that Pep and Trgo have been issues in that. Me, I am hesitant to blame Trgo because when the HC was a DC, I feel it's more that the DC is running his scheme than acting more independently. As for Pep, I don't think he was a problem this year. I am sad he wants to leave because of the reason his agent gave and sad that I don't believe he ever lived up to what I think his POTENTIAL is for several years though.

    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
    • Did I miss something?  The people we have developing players now are not the ones we've had in the past so I don't know what the heck people are talking about when they say we are not good at developing players right now.  We only have one year to go on.  Canales likes young players or players who are on an upward trajectory, especially in FA this year.  Past QB's and what he's done with Bryce are good examples. Tershawn Wharton - 26 Tre'von Moehrig - 25 Pat Jones II - 26 Bobby Brown III - 24 Michael Jackson - 28 Jaycee Horn - 25 Tommy Tremble - 24 We missed on Milton Williams but he's 26. Everyone else we picked up are on 1 year deals.  The Panthers new front office and Canales absolutely scream developmental team. Pick 8 (stay) Tier 1 Elite - Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter and Mason Graham Tier 2 Elite - Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, Will Johnson Trade down: There are quite a few really good players that fit us at Edge, DT, S and WR mid to late 1st and high 2nd.  Some combos that would be possible that I really like.  Imagine getting 2 of these guys by trading down. Stark, Pierce Jr, Golden, Scourton, Grant, Emmanwori, Ezeiruaku, Umanmielen, Deone Walker, Harmon and this is just off the top of my head.
