If we don't take Fairley, we need to trade down. I really want Fairley in a Panthers uniform, but I understand if the team does trade down. That was my original draft wish anyway back when 90%of the board was having carnal thoughts about Luck. I thought we could draft DL a couple spots back.

At this point I can't see any other options than Fairley or trade down. To me, it's that cut and dry.

That's okay. It is them wanting to trade up. My best case scenario would be to take Fairley and bring in Nnamdi. They would instantly make our defense number one in the league, especially with Rivera's coaching. If they want to make the trade and give us a 1st this year and next, that would increase our chances of getting Luck. Getting Luck would be the only reason I would trade Fairley away at this point.
