HOLY CRAP! We drafted who???

I was irate when I found out we gave up a 1st rounder, to move up 9 spots in the 2nd round to draft Everette Brown.

I thought the Clausen pick was dumb.

And I just shook my head at the idiocy when I found out what we gave up to get Armanti Edwards.

"I know! I'll make a thread about the times the FO made a pick I didn't expect to be good but was!"

...I could have told you this wasn't going to end like you anticipated.

Mine would be Stew. Thought it was a strange pick since we just got Williams. Turned out well.

I never liked the Jarrett pick because he was another USC receiver and had no luck with Keary Colbert. Also thought that he was going to do something that would embarrass the organization.

Last year, I told myself I was going to bang my head into the wall if we picked Clausen. Many brain cells lost their lives that day.

It sure is a lot easier to question our draft choices after the fact.

Kinda hard to get it right 100% of the time when we are making the draft.

So, who should we draft in all the positions we have available, and let's see how they turn out in two or three years.

Well, hell. When we drafted D. Will, I was like meh. He made me eat crow!

On the other side though, I loved the J-Stew pick, and I remember many a Huddler talking poo about that one!

Oh yeah, I have never been outraged or shocked at a pick at all, because I figure that the FO knows what it's doing. Thet are looking on the inside out, and I'm looking from the outside in. Moreover, by its very nature, the draft is a glorified crap shoot. Sometimes you'll win, sometimes you won't, so I have yet to have a "Holy Crap" moment.

Me too. I remember thinking, we just passed on Derrick Johson the LB from Texas for a guy to small to play LB and too big to play Safety

Ohio, I wasn't shocked because I knew how good he was.

I find a bit of irony with your sig! Yeah, it's nice to take pride in your BCS victory over an SEC opponent, but did you ever ask yourself what conference those three guys----that you value are the only ones worthy of a number 1 pick---Green, Fairley and Peterson come from?:D
