Meeks is a secondary guy so it is a natural for him. Rivera wants to run a more aggressive defense than Meeks is used to so it makes sense to go a different direction. As for Skipper, I figure he was planning to go with Fox anyway so Marty didn't make a big pitch for him to stay.

I don't think Skipper will be a huge loss. He's a great coach, but he's not the only RB coach in the league and I'm sure Stewart/Goodson won't suddenly forget everything he taught them now because he's gone.

Meeks will make a GREAT secondary coach. That's great news.

And I still say we have to try and get something for Williams. Franchise him and let him negotiate with other teams; once he makes a deal with one of them, begin trade talks. It's really not that complicated and won't cost nearly what it would have to do the same with Peppers last year.

Meeks may be good at Secondary coach...I didn't think that his defensive style was aggresive enough for Rivera to stay on as DC

While Skipper was a good coach...he was a really good friend of Fox...he had to go
