Would trading for John Kitna be a good move?

No. He may be good enough to keep the Panthers in a few games and win 1-3 more but what good does that do? Just keeps us from the top picks in the draft.

any coach/FO whose strategy is to suck bad enough to get the top picks in the draft next year has no place in the NFL.

Only four good running backs -- one of the most critical pieces in Foxball.

Mike Goodson for Kyle Orton, straight up. :P

Do you think thats realisic or is this sacarsm that Im missing?? I would say Goodson and a 4th.

Like maybe one that has some experience in whatever offense that Rivera decides we are going to run?

What??

He's okay but I'm sick of losing draft picks (unless it is a real steal). There are free agents available. Go get one Hurney!!!!!!

I agree but that's a upgrade close to a steal for us, do some understand what Orton can bring to us. Think back about Urlacher's rant last year...He's not the prettiest qb but he just wins games. Don't we have two 3rd round picks or will when (one untradable) the comp picks are announced.

my bad, let me rephrase..

who?

For which offensive scheme? It's not just grab a QB. It has to be a QB that fits. If Rivera decides to go full blown WCO, it would be nice to have a QB with some experience in that system to mentor a young QB. If he decides to stay with a vertical passing O, it would likely mean a different option for a vet QB would be needed.

What??

.
