What does Broncos' hiring of Fox say about Panthers?

Fox gets a better offense (QB play specifically), but a worse defense.

Rivera gets the exact opposite, better D and awful QB play (easier to fix, IF the cheap sacks of ____ get a quality vet).

Both are defensive minded coaches. However, I do believe Denver WILL get the FAs that Fox wants, while Carolina will do the same stupid things they have always done when it come to getting QUALITY free agents. Add to that the NFCS is a tougher division, IMO.

So, yea Fox will probably win more over the next few years. After all, we will pin are our hopes on unproven draft picks, because we are a cheap organization. Fox got most of his old coaching staff back, while Rivera has to build his from scratch. And oh yea, Fox is is an EXPERIENCED HC already, while this is Rivera 1st year.

The rules are/have changed to give the offense a better chance at scoring and an advantage over defense. You have to be able to score when the team needs it. Denver can score and we can't. Until I SEE otherwise, that is how I feel. Fox is in a better position, all things considered.

So no, I will NEVER say we need Fox back or it was a mistake to let him go. If anything, he will probably deteriorate the QB position (among other things) overtime and make them mediocre, just like he did us. Which will be an improvement for Denver....I'd like to see us take a step up from mediocrity.
