he's short and doesn't have the best arm, but he has strong leadership abilities at least... good intangibles, winner, just not 100% sold on him 'cause of his arm. looking forward to seeing him in the Senior Bowl.

I don't want any spread QB, especially one who is just now learning to take snaps from center. We has a good arm and accuracy, but I didn't see anything at practice this week that really impressed me.

I like him but he's a guy that needs to be developed and we need a guy who can play right now not 2/3 years from now.

Dalton may be a good project, but with Clausen, Pike, and a FA...I don't think the team will take a QB anywhere in the upcoming draft

exactly. He's not doing anything anytime soon.

With a Bulger/Volek+Clausen, I still see the new coaching staff going after a QB in the draft they think they can groom...and Dalton (also McElroy) can fit pretty well here imo. Just give em the shot. I want one of those Texas QBs in this draft (possibly even Ponder if he falls to the 5th)
